Clay Functions are a really simple way to get some code up and running. You can think of Clay Functions as an easy way to create serverless APIs. When you create a Clay function, it starts as a private API endpoint, but you can also easily use these functions within Clay Workflows and Clay Bases.
Clay Functions can be edited in the browser using our cloud code editor, or if you prefer to use your editor of choice, our Clay CLI tool lets you easily create and deploy Clay Functions.
Beyond the functions you write, there is also a growing library of publicly available Clay functions that include integrations to popular SaaS Apps and APIs, as well as custom functionality. The Clay library of functions gives you functionality you may need for your workflows and apps out of the box, saving you from reinventing the wheel.
